First let me start off by noting that Thomas’ first draft was a pleasure to read. He really had a grasp of his themed paper about Standard Oil. Thomas did substantial research into political cartoons of the time to further display the publics reaction at the time to one of the countries largest company. Thomas had as I recall over 10 primary sources and the strength of the paper tended to be in the clarity of his writing skills. Little to no confusion or overlapping. I feel Thomas actually could have written more on the subject as I feel his reasearch was more than complete. The first draft kept my attention to the subject and I someone who has never been exposed to the subject matter could comprehend the main theme. Good job Thomas!
